Call to Mind
Counseling, LLC
Call to Mind Counseling began in 2024 for the purpose of providing accessible and quality counseling for those in the tri-state area.
Our therapist, Edie Webb, is a licensed mental health counselor associate in the state of Indiana. She is currently supervised, per licensure requirements, by a licensed therapist.
At Call to Mind Counseling, we are trained to provide counseling for a variety of reasons:
While we counsel from a biblical worldview/perspective, we allow the client to determine whether faith is discussed in our sessions.
About
Therapist
Hey there! My name is Edie Webb, and I am the owner and therapist at Call to Mind! I believe it is important for clients to feel comfortable and confident in their choice of therapist, and one way to help prospective clients feel comfortable is to tell you a bit about myself!
I grew up in western Kentucky, born and raised a Kentucky girl and a pastor’s daughter. After attending undergrad in my hometown at Kentucky Wesleyan College, I decided to pursue a theological education, and landed at Southern Seminary. Southern will always hold a special place in my heart: I met my husband, Tyler there, and by the time we left Louisville, was pregnant with our sweet girl.
Getting my Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling is a decision I’ll always be thankful I made, but I knew, in order to be the effective therapist I desired to be, I needed more school. I finished up my Masters in Clincial Mental Health Counseling at University of the Cumberlands in 2023 and am now a licensed therapist in the state of Indiana.
I look forward to getting to know you more in person, but for now I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite things: UK sports, NFL (fantasty football fanatic over here), lover of books, golfer and most importantly, loving Jesus and being loved by Him!
Services
I offer individual, family and couples counseling.
God has shown me time and again that He is sufficient and His power is made perfect in our weakness.
For this reason, I view counseling as my opportunity to minister to those walking through seasons of hardship, change and suffering, pointing client’s to Christ through the counseling process.
One way that I intertwine biblical counseling with mental health counseling in my practice is approaching every client as embodied souls. What this means is that I view individuals as both body and soul, and my goal in counseling is to address both the physical and spiritual components of those in my care.
